- Part 2 (Communication and Application) TEST for 4.6-4.8 Tomorrow (NO  JOKE!)



ENGLISH
- Please come to class with 2 printed frameworks - we will be peer-editing in class in order to help prepare for the full in class essay next Friday.
- Those students who have not completed any frameworks must still complete them and know that they are past due.
- Tomorrow I will hand out and go over the Essay rubric
- I will also be using a checklist for each framework as a formative grade (x3)

- Review lessons 4.6-4.8 (Multiplying fractions by whole numbers, multiplying decimals and dividing decimals)
- 4.6-4.8 Knowledge and Thinking TEST - Tomorrow - March 31st
- 4.6-.8 Communication and Application TEST - Friday - April 1st



ENGLISH
- Today we completed 1 practice full paragraph writing for the essay
- We will be writing another full paragraph next Monday
- Summative in class Essay is slotted for Next Friday April 8th
-I have eliminated 1 essay question from each class as a summative option, however,
all 3 frameworks must be submitted - several students still behind on some frameworks
that are now all past due.
-Please print the other 2 essays either at home or at school in order to use to study and
give peer feedback

complete it for homework - it should be clearer after today's lesson
- The next test will be on lessons 4.6-4.8 (multiplying and dividing decimals)

- Framework #3 was due today - several students are behind on this assignment (many also have yet to submit Framework #2
- It is your responsibility to have all your quotes and ideas ready for the in class essay (end of next week)

and the #3 is due March 24th last day (Thursday) before the long weekend (good Friday and
Easter Monday)
- This Friday is our charity Basketball tournament - and other house activities - a form has gone home today providing some information

We will be having a test on Thursday and/or Friday for lessons 4.1-4.5
4.6-4.9 after the March-Break

Do  not forget to turn in your Framework #1 on google classroom

- Framework #1 is due tomorrow - Get it done ASAP
- I will be  conferencing with all students regarding their frameworks to see that you
are on the right track and that your quotes support your ideas.
- These 3 frameworks will act as a study tool as one of the 3 essay questions will be chosen
to write a summative in class essay.
